This Privacy Policy applies to the following apps developed by TAG Apps (each an "App," collectively the "Apps"):
BX: Bundles & Volume Discounts
GD: Shop the Look AI
DP: Deposit & Partial Payments
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how TAG Apps ("TAG Apps," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when:
A Shopify merchant ("Merchant," "Client") installs and uses one or more of the Apps, and
The Merchant's customers or visitors ("Visitors," "Customers") interact with features powered by the Apps on the Merchant's Shopify store (the "Store"), such as product bundles, volume discounts, "shop the look" widgets, and deposit or partial payment options.
Our Apps enable Merchants to:
Create product bundles and offer quantity-based (volume) discounts (BX),
Showcase AI-assisted "shop the look" product groupings on their storefront (GD), and
Offer deposit-based and partial (split) payment options at checkout (DP).
By installing or using any of the Apps, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
Important: We have no direct relationship with your Customers. Merchants are responsible for informing Customers about data processing on their Store and obtaining any required consent.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide (Merchants)
Name, email, store name
Support communications
App configuration data, depending on the App(s) installed:
BX: Selected products, bundle composition, volume discount tiers and rules, display settings
GD: Products selected for "looks," AI look-generation settings, widget layout and display rules
DP: Deposit amounts and percentages, payment schedules, eligible products or collections, reminder settings
2.2 Information from Shopify
Via Shopify APIs, we may access:
Store details (name, domain, settings)
Product data (titles, images, variants, pricing, collections)
Order and checkout data (DP only), such as order details, order status, and payment status — used to create, track, and manage deposits and remaining balances
This data is used solely to power the features of the Apps.
2.3 Visitor / Customer Data
When Customers interact with App features, we may collect:
Interaction data:
Products viewed or selected in a bundle or "look" widget
Applied discounts (bundle, volume, or tiered)
Widget engagement events
Timestamp and page context
DP only: Information necessary to manage deposits and partial payments, such as customer name, email address, order details, amounts paid, and outstanding balances. This may be used to send payment reminders and balance notifications on the Merchant's behalf.
Important: We do not collect or store payment card numbers or full payment credentials. All payments are processed by Shopify Checkout and the Merchant's payment providers.
BX and GD do not inherently require personal data collection (such as email or phone), unless integrated with third-party tools configured by the Merchant.
2.4 AI Features (GD: Shop the Look AI)
GD may use artificial intelligence to analyze product data (such as titles, descriptions, images, and collections) in order to generate and suggest "look" combinations. AI processing is applied to the Merchant's product catalog data — not to Customers' personal data. Product data may be processed by third-party AI service providers acting on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.

Maintain sessions (including deposit/partial payment flows)
3. How We Use Data
To Provide the Service
Display bundle, volume discount, and "shop the look" widgets
Group products and apply discounts
Calculate bundle, tiered, and volume pricing
Generate AI-assisted look suggestions
Create and manage deposits, payment schedules, and balance payments
Send payment reminders and notifications (on the Merchant's behalf)
Track feature performance

4. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data.
We may share data with:
Infrastructure & hosting providers
Analytics tools
AI service providers (for GD's look-generation features)
Shopify and integrations
Legal authorities if required
5. Data Storage & Retention
Stored securely with safeguards
Retained while the App is active and for a limited time after uninstall
Deleted or anonymized when no longer needed
6. Roles
Merchants = Data Controllers (for any customer data tied to their store)
TAG Apps = Data Processor (processing on Merchant instructions)
We are a data controller only for Merchant account data.
7. Rights
Depending on applicable law:
Access / correction / deletion
Data portability
Withdraw consent
Visitors must contact the Merchant directly.
8. Legal Basis (GDPR)
Processing is based on:
Contract performance
Legitimate interest
Consent (if applicable)
Legal obligations
9. Updates
We may update this policy. Continued use = acceptance.
