Reminders email the buyer before the balance is charged or due. You choose how many days before. Buyers are less surprised by the charge, and fewer payments fail.
Where to find it
Depositly → Purchase options → your offer → After the order → Payment reminders
For split payments: Depositly → Settings → Notifications → Send a reminder before the invoice expires
How to set it up (deposits)
Open your offer and go to After the order.
Under Payment reminders, tick the days to send a reminder, for example 7 days before and on the due date.
To add other days, type them under Other days, separated by commas, for example
14,3.Click Save.
How to set it up (split payments)
Go to Settings → Notifications.
Turn on Send a reminder before the invoice expires.
Set Reminder days before expiry.
Click Save.
Good to know
No reminders are sent for paused balances, or for balances taken in person on collection.
