Order-total tiers let the buyer pick a payment term, and the app splits the total into equal dated payments. For example:
Orders from $500: 6, 8 or 12 weeks, paid weekly or every two weeks.
Orders from $1,000: up to 12 weeks.
You can also take a deposit when the order is placed, then collect the rest on the plan.
Where to find it
Depositly → Split payments → Create split payment → Offer terms → tick Installment payment. The Deposit and Order-total tiers sections then show up below.
How to set it up
Create or open a split payment offer.
On Offer terms, tick Installment payment under Type.
Optional: under Deposit, choose Percentage or Fixed amount and enter the deposit. Leave it empty or 0 for no deposit.
Under Order-total tiers, click Add tier.
For each tier, set Orders from (the minimum order total), how often it's Billed (weekly or fortnightly), and the Allowed payment periods.
Click Save.
The example line under the deposit shows what a buyer would pay, so you can check your numbers.
Good to know
Each tier must start at a higher order total than the one above it.
A cart below your first tier can't use installments.
With no tiers, buyers choose any number of payments from 2 to 12, and each part must be paid within the deadline you set.
With tiers, payment dates come from the term the buyer picks.
