Collect now charges the remaining balance to the card saved at checkout straight away. Use it when an order is ready early, or when you want to decide yourself when to charge.
Where to find it
Depositly → Orders & balances → Deposits → Collect now on the order
How to use it
Go to Orders & balances.
Find the order.
Click Collect now.
The status changes to Collecting, then Collected once the payment goes through.
Good to know
Collect now needs automatic mode, where a card was saved at checkout. It isn't available for manual, draft-order or in-person balances.
If your store can't charge cards automatically, use Collect payment on the order in Shopify instead.
Buyers can also pay the balance early themselves from the customer portal.
