A paused balance isn't charged, retried or reminded about until you resume it. It's useful for group buys and campaigns that haven't reached their goal yet, or when a buyer asks for more time.
Where to find it
Depositly → Orders & balances → Deposits → Pause on the order
How to pause
Go to Orders & balances.
Find the order and click Pause.
To pause many at once, select the orders and use the bulk action. You can also pause every balance of one offer.
How to resume
Click Resume on the order. It goes back on schedule. If the due date has already passed, the balance is charged on the next daily run. Use Collect now if you need it sooner.
Good to know
Balances that are already collected, being charged right now, or set to manual collection are skipped.
On fulfillment balances: Shopify charges these itself when you fulfil the order. Pausing stops the app, not Shopify. Don't fulfil those orders while they're paused.
To cancel a balance for good, cancel the order in Shopify. Depositly cancels the open balance right away. Refunding the deposit is a separate choice.
