How do I change "Remaining balance charged when your order ships"?
This text comes from the On fulfillment balance timing. You can:
change the wording on the Translations page, or
choose a different balance timing, for example a number of days after checkout. This only affects new orders.
How do I change the paragraph under the payment section at checkout?
That paragraph is Shopify's, not Depositly's. Edit it in Shopify admin → Online Store → Themes → ⋯ → Edit default theme content → Checkout and system, and search for "deferred". See Edit the checkout text.
Can I change "Deposit 50%" under each item at checkout?
Yes. Open your offer, go to Appearance → Checkout text, and edit the Payment plan name.
I translated the widget, but it still shows in my own language.
Your offer probably has custom text you typed yourself. Custom offer text wins over the standard translations. Go to Translations → What are you translating? → Offer texts, pick your offer and translate it for each language.
Can I send customized invoices and emails?
Yes, on the Pro plan. Go to Emails to change the wording and design. See Customize your emails.
How do customers see what they still owe?
In the customer portal, inside their store account. See Customer portal.
