A contribution link lets anyone pay part of the balance with their own card. They never see the buyer's details or the full order. The remaining payments adjust after each contribution.
It's also useful when a buyer wants to pay any amount, any number of times, until the order is paid off.
Where to find it
For one order: Depositly → Split payments → Orders → open the order → Let friends and family pay toward this order
For all new orders: Depositly → Settings → Notifications → New split orders accept contributions
How to set it up
Open the split order.
Turn on Let friends and family pay toward this order.
Click Copy next to Share this link.
Send the link to the buyer, or let them share it.
The order shows how much is still Available to contribute. When it reaches zero, the order is fully covered.
Good to know
Each contribution becomes its own Shopify order. You get a notification when someone contributes.
